Swarn Makshik Bhasm is a classical mineral Rasayana traditionally used to ease restlessness, support calm sleep, and soothe head-related discomfort by pacifying Pitta and Kapha.
Swarna Makshik Bhasma is a classical Rasashastra preparation made from Makshik (copper-iron pyrite ore), purified and calcined through traditional methods described in texts such as the Rasa Tantra Sara.
Within Ayurvedic brain and nerve care, it is traditionally used for restlessness, disturbed sleep, and head-related discomfort, alongside its broader classical reputation for supporting digestion and metabolic balance.
In Ayurveda, disturbed sleep, irritability, and head discomfort are often linked to aggravated Pitta affecting the mind and senses.
Swarna Makshik Bhasma is classically prepared by purifying Makshik ore and calcining it repeatedly with herbal media until it forms a fine, traditionally bioavailable ash, intended to gently pacify Pitta and support a calmer, more settled state of mind.
As with other classical bhasma preparations, it is traditionally given in small, precise doses under supervision rather than as a bulk daily supplement.
The sole active ingredient — classically purified and calcined chalcopyrite ore, prepared through repeated Rasashastra processing.
