Chandranshu Ras is a powerful classical Ayurvedic formula designed to support overall wellness and vitality. This traditional preparation promotes energy, strength, and general health. Use regularly under expert guidance for optimal benefits.
Chandranshu Ras is a classical Rasa Shastra formulation referenced in the Bhaishajya Ratnavali (Stri Rogadhikara, verses 85–87), traditionally indicated for gynaecological disorders involving vaginal irritation, infection, and a burning sensation (a group of conditions classically described under Yonivyapad).
It is prepared from purified mercury and multiple metallic Bhasmas, triturated with Kumari (Aloe vera) juice, and is traditionally used to bring relief from local discomfort associated with these conditions.
In Ayurveda, vaginal irritation, infection, and burning sensation are classically associated with aggravated Pitta and accumulated Kapha-Ama affecting the Yoni (reproductive tract) and surrounding tissue.
Chandranshu Ras is classically prepared by triturating purified Rasa (mercury) with Abhraka Bhasma (mica), Loha Bhasma (iron), Vanga Bhasma (tin), and Shuddha Gandhaka (purified sulphur), using the juice of Kumari (Aloe vera) as the binding and processing medium.
Kumari is classically regarded as cooling (Sheeta Virya) and soothing to irritated tissue, and its inclusion in this formulation is traditionally intended to calm local burning and support comfortable resolution of the underlying imbalance, alongside the mineral ingredients' traditional Pitta-Kapha pacifying action.
The classical mineral base of this Rasa Shastra formulation, used only after traditional purification (Shodhana) processes.
A traditional Rasayana mineral ingredient included for its classical Tridosha-balancing properties.
Classically included in gynaecological Rasa formulations to support women's health.
A traditional mineral ingredient valued in classical Rasa Shastra for reproductive-system formulations.
Used classically as the trituration medium; traditionally regarded as cooling and soothing, particularly for Pitta-related irritation.
